Not often do you find a recipe for a healthy dessert so whilst your '100-calorie' recipe book may be jam packed, the chances are your dessert section is a little on the slim side. With that in mind we've conjured up (and tested) a delicious and more importantly easy to make recipe for Strawberry Frozen Yoghurt.
- 4 handfuls of frozen strawberries
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- ½ cup of plain yoghurt (none or full-fat)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (fresh)
Add all the ingredients to the bowl of the food processor and process until creamy, about 5 minutes should do it - if you want a lumpier yoghurt then process for a shorter time! Once it is done then either serve immediately or store it in an airtight container in the freezer for up to once month. Perfect for the days you don't expect the sun to make an appearance. It's a cheap, fast and healthy way to enjoy the sun and really get into that summer mood!
